Escapade arabians is a small stud in Taranaki started by the mother daughter team of Sharon and Fay Neville.
Fay was introduced into the arab ring with her second pony a partbred mare …….Hazel (Ngapa Golden Lad) a good allround pony with huge movement and very high tail set!! Fay soon caught the bug and set eyes on the purebred gelding Poukekewa G’mahli (Poukekewa. Amaahl X……..) Bred by Poukekewa Arabians. Fay had success in all disciplines with G’mahli and he was sold on and became a top showjumping pony. After a short break Sharon and Fay found the dark liver chestnut mare Hadif Hitazaa Liat (Araleigh Azarda X Hightail It ) was available for lease. Before her arrival it was planned she would be bred to the Australian import Diplomat (Alii X Rashaani ) in the hope that she would produce a filly to start the stud off. Eleven months later all wishes were granted when a beautiful bay filly was born, thus being the birth of Es’capade Arabians. Escapade Evanesence Alii has been lightly shown both in hand and Riden classes. Eve is expecting her first foal in december 2010.
Hadif Hitazza Liat was put back in foal to the partbred pony stallion Hopefield Royal Rebel, with the result being this spring a gorgeous chestnut filly with huge blaze and hind stocking. Another future show filly for the stud and she was named Escapade Masika, she is a very pretty lady and should grow to be a full size pony. Sika was sadly lost ina tragic paddock Accident in october 2009, RIP dear Sika, you will be truly missed and loved.
